Nights like this are what makes the rest of it worth while

I’m trying to find a different voice to use here than I would in the kicker victory email from a campaign. That said, I just spent a few minutes out with my friends who helped drive home this nights amazing piece of legislation and I felt that something needed to be said.

What happened tonight is nothing short of history. This work, for me, fulfills the promise of 3 generations of Democrats, to provide a level playing field, affording all citizens of character and dedication the same opportunities for entrepreneurship. Listening to POTUS speak tonight, on a whim, I heard this in the back of my head.
